My name is Ashley. I share stories from African History, Culture, and various indigenous belief systems. I use those stories to help people develop better and positive understanding of themselves, their cultural heritage and shared history with Africa and the African diaspora. My mission is to end cycles of depression, anxiety, trauma PTSD, and unhealthy relationship in Our communities. The stories I share bring us back to our roots, they give me a sense of identity. This knowledge of self our history and culture will inspire us to succeed and empower us to work together to grow and prosper as a community.
Professionally, I have over 10 years experience working with individuals and families coping with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and various other mental illnesses. I’ve excelled at teaching people how these illnesses manifest in our lives and how to cope with them through the use of mindfulness, meditation, and journaling. My professional experiences have taught me so much about myself and why I am so driven to motivate inspire and empower people to live their best lives.
I am very intuitive and easily pick up on other people’s energy. Working in mental health I have learned to help people find their truth. Tarot is a tool I use to give insight and spiritual confirmation to where they are and what they are struggling with on their spiritual journey. I like tarot because most of the time the cards reveal the naked truth. And unlike when I’m at work and I have to restrain myself from being too honest. I’m able to keep it real and deliver the more candid messages.
