Introduction to Ashé: a Crash Course into African Spirituality

We will focus on a variety of subjects related to Africa's spiritual traditions, personal development, and traditional religions. Exploring the distinctions and parallels between various traditional religions, the significance of divination, the Odu, and Ori, and the value of self-honor, ancestral spirits, and personal growth in spiritual practice. Ashley offers practical advice on self-care, including spiritual baths and daily ritual. We will discuss the importance of establishing a safe space to connect with spirits and managing ancestral energy. You will gain insight into different deities, such as Oshun, Eshu, and Egun, as well as the spiritual properties of okra and coconut milk in bathing. This class will provide a platform for engaging and insightful conversations on spiritualism and personal development.

All classes are open to ALL, however they are designed for black and indigenous practitioners. All information is appropriate for all levels of initiation and those who are not initiated into Ifa or an African Traditional Religion.
