Understanding the Orisha
The Orishas are the emissaries of Olodumare or God almighty. They rule over the forces of nature and the endeavors of humanity. They love, they hate, they protect, and they also punish people within their power of nature attributed to them. They recognise themselves and are recognised through their different numbers and colors which are their marks, and each has their own favorite foods and other things which they like to receive as offerings and gifts.
This is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour course to help shed some light on each of the Major 7 Orisha; Eleggua, Obatala, Yemaya, Ogun, Oya, Shango, and Oshun. I will share a story about each orisha and shed light on the aspects of nature attributed to them. We will also take time to discuss the importance of ancestors and how to honor them.
Each class will be conducted via Zoom and will be 1 1/2 to 2 hours long. Upon payment completion you will receive a confirmation email and will receive a link to the class 24 hours before the class is scheduled to start.
Saturday May 8 at 7pm Central
I love the class learned many things about the orisha also was able to ask questions and she was able to tell me things i ask questions about if anyone looking to learn about the Orishas the Ashe shop is the best to go to
Babe......this class was absolutely bomb.💕 I have learned so much about starting out on my spiritual journey, Orisha’s, setting up altars, and the class was small enough to provide plenty of time for answering all my curious questions. Ashley is very real and down to earth and she made me feel very comfortable with asking questions I may have usually held in. Thank you so much for allowing us to soak up a small part of your wisdom. I really appreciate you and can’t wait to continue to learn from you. May God and your ancestors continue to guide and protect you forever. ~Ase 💕🦋✨
Very personal setting ✨ got to interact with Ashley and the other students during the classes. Really loved it 😍
Holds as a solid starting point for anyone starting their journey or is looking to learn more about the orishas. The class is interactive and the way Ashley tells the stories keeps you engaged throughout the class.
I love the way the stories are told. I left the class with a better understanding of the Orisha.
