When I began my journey, I had no elders, guidance, or friends to help me learn. I was on my own. These classes are designed to help you understand African Traditional Practices and beliefs, to learn about the Orishas and how they influence our lives, and to integrate spiritual practices into your everyday life. These 4 classes will help youth determine if African Traditional Practices are in alignment with your personal journey.

Want to learn to integrate your spirituality into your everyday life
Each class is a part of a monthly curriculum. New classes are offered each month. Past class recording are available. Classes are 1-2 hours long and take place every Tuesday at 7pm Central. Classes can be purchases in the 4-week course or individually. Purchasing the 4 week course, you can attend all classes that month and receive links for any missed classes. January Class Schedule
What are African Traditional Religions?- January 4
This class focuses on the history and suppression of African Traditional beliefs, discussing different types of spiritual prices, and important African Traditional beliefs and practices.
All About Orishas- January 11
This class offers an in-depth discussion into the Orishas and the Yoruba creation stories. We discuss popular Orishas in depth (Esu, Obatala, Oshun, Ogun, and more). We also get into ways you can acknowledge and honor the Orishas in your everyday life.
Who is Esu-Elegua?- January 18
Each month we dedicate a class to a specific Orisha. This month we will be discussing Esu-Elehua in depth. Focusing on his history and paths, how he manifests in the world and our lives.
Living with Spirit- January 25
This class focuses on integrating African Traditional practices and beliefs into ou everyday lives. We go in-depth into ancestral veneration, choosing a path, and finding peers and elders.
